SUPPORTIVE HOUSING FOR YOUNG ADULTS NEW YORK LOCATION
LEAD DESIGNER: DARIA ZVEGINTSEVA
Proposal for a new supportive housing in New York city that will accommodate 24 young adults aged out of foster care and help them to become independent in the future.
The young adults who will live in the transitional housing are late blooming flowers. The center’s goal is to help them to bloom. Our design team was inspired by warm colors of Pampas Grass, a late-flowering beauty. It adds color and form to the garden from September until February, with its striking feathery plumes held high above a dense clump of foliage.
